Our Purpose, Mission & Vision
The Center for the Study of Media, Technology & More is a collective of scholar/practitioners whose research and practice uncover new insights and advance theory in media, communications, and technology related fields. We develop evidence-based programs to address critical issues regarding how people are affected by media, how people adopt media, how they adapt to media and technology, and how they are influenced by media. We are a non-profit, tax-exempt organization.
Mission
Our mission is to conduct research and develop programs that help people, as both creators and consumers, use media, and technology as tools to enrich their lives.
Vision
Our vision is to use our expertise in psychology, communications, education, engineering, and complimentary fields, for an interdisciplinary approach to healthy adoption and engagement with media and technology.
